Julie Willbond

Executive Director


Julie is a registered social worker who has a penchant for the silly and is an aspiring yogini and harmonica player. As the executive director, Julie takes care of the big picture for TYPS, hiring and managing staff, finding funding, liaising with the community and other youth centres, and pitching in to clean toilets and mop the floors when the need arises. Rachel Eades

Outreach Coordinator


Rachel has a degree in political science and spent her time before TYPS working in student affairs at the university level, running programs and events for university-aged youth. When not working, Rachel is an aspiring photographer who also loves cooking, baking, making music, and all things crafty. As Outreach Coordinator, Rachel works with local schools and community groups to build partnerships and joint-programs that serve the community as a whole. Alyssa Comstock

Alyssa is a fourth year Bachelor of Social Work student at Carleton University who was born and raised in Smiths Falls. Before coming to TYPS, Alyssa worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County in a variety of roles (including high school coop student!). When not at work, Alyssa is usually busy finding ways to keep laughing. As the Youth Services Worker, Alyssa takes care of the drop-in from Tuesday to Friday – organizing programming, inviting guest speakers, keeping the kitchen well-stocked, and cleaning.

Jaime Duchemin

Casual Staff


Jaime has a diploma in tourism management and is originally from Carleton Place, where she attended high school. Jaime has a four year-old daughter who keeps her on her toes when she’s not at work. Jaime runs the after-school program on Monday nights, and covers other shifts on an as-needed basis.
